There are some really exciting pieces coming into My-Wardrobe this season and, whilst we may not be getting the same site overhaul as the girls just yet, the brands and products more than compensate this.
One label I'm incredibly excited for is Markus Lupfer. One of my favourite new womenswear designers, this season Lupfer has officially branched out into Menswear (although I already had my eye on a whole host of pieces from the Womenswear collections) and I am delighted it's been picked up by the folks at My-Wardrobe. If I was in the business of giving out brownie points, believe me, this would warrant a whole lot of them.
In general, (as I was told by the lovely Susie) we're seeing a lot of indigo's and blues this season, as well as a lot of classic stripes. You'll notice that this season, classic heritage brand Barbour (to the right), which we saw here, there and everywhere at festivals last summer, have expanded their range to a selection of bright primary colourways. They're certainly more exciting and vibrant but I can't see any farmers sporting a yellow one any time soon.
Everyone loves a celebration right? Well, next season Marc by Marc Jacobs celebrates it's 10th birthday and, whilst most of us probably won't be receiving an invitation to the star studded birthday party (we wish!), we can all at least join in the frivolities with this Marc by Marc Jacobs birthday tee.
Last but by no means least, we finished our tour with an overview of the rather extensive shoe collection. We're seeing a lot of brogues for next season, the majority of which come with stacked, contrasting or some otherwise contrasting sole (remember the 'sandwich' soled shoes at Prada?).
They say good things come to those who wait and, whilst the girls may have a swanky new site in the works, us guys certainly aren't being left out were it really counts, the clothes. Besides, it won't be long before we're getting a new site of our own and, let's face it, we have Markus Lupfer...
